This article provides a clear overview of the latest updates released for the Supply Chain platform.
1. Product supply chains
- Users can now update the name or reference of a supplier’s raw material.
- The Supply Chain Approval role is required to edit these details.
- When updated, changes are applied to the raw material and any associated product links and specification requests.
Note: This does not affect the name or reference on the supplier’s own product if they have already accepted a link.
2. Automatically update finished product details
- If a user edits the name of their own product, and linked supplier products have the exact same name and reference, the raw material name and reference in the supply chain will be updated automatically.
- This ensures finished products retain consistent details when links are sent and product names or references change.
- Updates only apply where the name and reference exactly match the user’s product before editing.
3. Specifications
- A new customer details section has been added to the product information area when creating a specification template.
- This section allows users to record the names of one or more customers a product is supplied to and may be used when a specification is created by a third party.
- When a new version of a specification is created, customer information is stored to support searching for specification versions from the specification search page.
4. Fixes and improvements
4.1. Assessments
- Supplier site codes are now displayed when sending new assessment requests from a project.
- Performance improvements have been made to speed up loading the question details page when navigating through an assessment.
- Loading of assessments on the sent assessments listings page has been improved to begin loading the next set of results when the user is midway through the list.
- Corrective actions now allow linked users to be selected when creating a new action.
- A fix has been applied to prevent assessment answers from being copied.
4.2. Document requests
- A fix has been applied to allow inactive documents to be set as historic from the company profile.
4.3. ESG assessments
- Performance improvements have been made when viewing supplier ESG assessment results on a list.
- ESG results visibility has been updated so that only customers can see results, with access updated accordingly.
- Header counts have been updated to separate ESG assessment status and request counts.
- A bug has been fixed that prevented a new company from being added to a list during initial creation.
4.4. Supply Chain
- Country and region information now populates correctly when searching companies using the API.
- A fix has been applied to correct an incorrect header on the rejected product links export.
- An issue preventing suppliers from removing product links from a supply chain has been resolved.
