This article provides a clear overview of the latest updates released for the Supply Chain platform.
1. Product specifications
- Packaging pack type options in both the details and components sections are now dependent on the selected packaging level.
- This aligns with the behaviour introduced previously for the packaging component material category field.
2. Assessment
- New functionality allows users to set dates for the next instance of a renewed continuous assessment when the current assessment is completed.
- If next dates are set, they will be used when the assessment renews.
- If next dates are not set, renewal dates (due, expiry, re‑issue) will continue to be automatically calculated based on the lifespan of the previous version.
3. Supplier product notes
- Private documents can now be stored against any supplier products mapped or declared in your supply chains.
- Users can add, preview, edit, and delete notes.
- The interface for managing private documents has been updated for both a user’s own products and supplier products.
- The supplier product overview now shows a single tab with a “more” link to access additional tabs.
- Restrictions have been added to prevent uploading unapproved file types and to limit uploads to 100 files at a time.
4. Supplier management
- Site codes and contact details can now be updated directly from the supplier overview.
- A count of ESG assessment request emails sent to customers is now displayed.
- Users can click through to view the send dates for these emails.
5. Fixes and improvements
5.1. Task outbox
- Fixed an issue where the company filter only showed companies for the current page of results.
5.2. General
- Fixed the display of sort arrows in table headers when viewing the sent assessment list or a project.
5.3. Notifications
- Restored the ability for users to dismiss all notifications.
- Added a link to toggle notification type selection.
- Changed the default notification range to one year when displaying counts on the homepage or viewing notification history.
5.4. Supply Chain mapping
- Fixed an edge case where supply chain snapshots did not update correctly if the same product appeared at different levels in the chain.
- Updated mapping to allow selection of all sites for companies with more than 50 sites.
5.5. Certification
- Updated automated certificate logic to allow updates based on matching certificate IDs when the hash does not match but only one ID match exists.
5.6. Document request
- Updated the “Not required” selection to prevent removal of documents that have already been provided.
5.7. Sedex
- Created tables to store additional Sedex site audit information.
- Added functions to retrieve and process Sedex details.
5.8. User tracking
- Added Appcues events to support user guidance when viewing ESG list and report pages.
