This article provides a clear overview of the latest updates released for the Authenticate platform.
1. Product quality recordings
A new feature has been introduced to allow Product Quality information to be recorded against supplier products.
- Users with access to this feature can manage recordings by navigating to a product’s supply chain, selecting a directly supplied raw material, and opening the Quality Records tab.
- This tab displays all existing recordings and allows new ones to be created.
When adding a new recording:
- Users can enter delivery details, upload files, and set an overall status.
- If more information is required, the recording can be assigned to another user, which will automatically create a task.
Future enhancements:
- A listings page for quick searching and adding recordings (Q2).
- Defined and scored quality metrics for recordings (Q3, to be confirmed).

2. Fixes and improvements
2.1. Assessments
- Added a button to delete a self‑assessment that has been rejected by the supplier.
- Increased the minimum height of the site‑select card when sending assessments to improve usability.
- Added a default re‑issue date for continuous assessments when one has not been set. This date is shown on the completion page for easy updating.
2.2. Assessments API
- New endpoints have been added to support importing assessments in a standardised format, including:
- Add/update option answers
- Add/update text answers
- Add/update attachments
- Add/update comments
- Add/update observations
- Add/update corrective actions
- Snapshot results for imported completed assessments
2.3. Company / site
- Fixed an issue where company logos did not display correctly when editing profile information.
2.4. Documents
- Fixed an issue preventing existing document requests from being archived.
2.5. General
- Updated sub‑navigation and tabs to function correctly on mobile devices.
2.6. Products
- Fixed an issue preventing drag‑and‑drop movement of a product category into an empty root category.
2.7. Specification
- Suppliers can now export details of completed specifications (previously only the requesting customer could export).
- Fixed an issue displaying image fields added to a specification via the “additional notes” section.
2.8. Users
- Prevented saving of duplicate email addresses when editing user details.
