This article summarises the updates planned for release in Week 4, April 2022 on the Authenticate platform.
1. Assessment
- Emails sent when an assessment is forwarded for supplier review now only notify the selected recipients, not the user who completed the assessment.
- The question details page now loads faster thanks to the right‑hand question menu being collapsed by default.
2. Supplier Manager
2.1. New guided list‑building process
- A new stepper guides users through creating supplier lists.
- The Add Suppliers step now allows searching from both the directory and the supply chain.
- This replaces the old search box previously shown when adding suppliers to an existing list.
2.2. Validation and confirmation improvements
- A validation alert now prompts users to confirm if no contact is selected for any site.
- A new confirmation step displays added details and prompts next actions.
- Future updates will allow direct navigation to associated areas immediately after list creation.
2.3. Navigation and usability updates
- Pagination added to all supplier list pages, replacing infinite scroll and improving navigation.
- Map view has been moved into its own tab.
- List ordering updated to sort by company name, then site name.
- Sub‑navigation options now only appear on relevant tabs.
- Add Supplier has been removed from list editing; suppliers are now added via the dedicated “Add Suppliers” action.
- New list types added (work in progress) to support ESG and approval information based on membership plan.

3. Supply Chain Mapping
- Users can now manage supplier site status/risk directly from the chain of custody list.
- Supply chain flow updated to show declared suppliers and the movement of self‑declared products.
- Labels updated when requesting product specifications and toggling visibility of Supply Chain Origins to improve clarity.
4. Certification
- Enterprise members can now receive scheduled email alerts about certificate issues for supplier sites in their supply chain.
- Alerts can be configured for daily or weekly updates.
- Notifications include sites with certificates that are:
- Suspended
- Withdrawn
- Expired (last 7 days)
- Expiring (next 14 days)
5. Fixes and improvements
5.1. Supplier list
- Inputs now span the full width when entering category/function details.
5.2. Specification
- Updated validation to allow the “<” character for sub‑ingredient values.
- Fixed duplicate user list values when mapping a product and requesting a specification.
- Fixed dataset JSON saving to support comparison when applying product variations with partial data.
5.3. Documents
- Fixed issues with document requests not updating correctly when creating new versions.
- Fixed document type changing incorrectly when editing a “read” type document.
- Updated validation to enable the save button when creating a new request after selecting a template.
5.4. Users
- Removed legacy user notification configuration options to simplify email alert settings.
5.5. Dashboards
- Added a new membership feature enabling access to additional reporting dashboards.
