1. Features

Request supplier certificates

You can now proactively request certificates from your suppliers directly within the platform, streamlining compliance documentation and reducing back-and-forth communication. This feature helps you ensure all suppliers maintain required certifications before issues arise.

Functionality:

• Send certificate requests for specific schemes (both automated and manual) to multiple supplier sites at once
• Track the status of all certificate requests in one place
• Receive notifications when suppliers add requested certificates or reject requests
• View certificate request tasks on your homepage alongside other priorities
• Send reminders for outstanding certificate requests through the task outbox

This capability is available to companies with the Global Certificates feature on Enterprise plans.

Enhanced task organization with Category view

Managing your workload just got easier with a new category-based task view on your homepage. Instead of scrolling through long task lists, you can now see your tasks organized into clear categories with counts, making it simple to prioritize and tackle work by area.

Functionality:

• View all your tasks grouped into categories (Assessments, Certificates, Supply Chain, Documents, etc.) with visual counts
• Click into any category to see related tasks
• Filter tasks by due date, assignee, requesting company, and search terms
• See overdue tasks highlighted with visual indicators (yellow warning for due today or 1 day overdue, red alert for more than 1 day overdue)
• Clear all filters quickly to return to the default view
• Navigate seamlessly between category overview and detailed task lists

The new interface works on mobile devices and makes it immediately clear where your attention is needed most.

Simplified Task Type filtering

Task filtering has been streamlined to help you find what you need faster. Instead of choosing from dozens of granular task types, you can now filter by consolidated categories that match how you actually work.

Functionality:

• Filter tasks by broader categories like "Assessments," "Certificates," "Documents," and "Supply Chain"
• See all related task types grouped together (e.g., "Assessments" includes assessment proposals, assessment requests, and assessment-related tasks)
• Apply the same simplified filters on both your homepage and task outbox
• Sort tasks by "Most Urgent Due Date" to see overdue items first, or "Least Urgent Due Date" to prioritize differently

Product merging now includes customer links

When you merge products in your supply chain, customer relationships now move to the merged product automatically, giving you a complete view of all upstream and downstream connections in one place.

Functionality: 

• Merge products and preserve both supplier and customer links
• See the merged product automatically archived from your catalogue
• Have any product mapping requests automatically resolved for the merged product
• Maintain complete supply chain visibility without manual cleanup

Navigating to products mapped elsewhere

Supply chain navigation is now more intuitive when products appear multiple times in your chain. You can click directly on indicators to jump to where a product is mapped elsewhere, saving time and reducing confusion.

Functionality:

• Click the "appears elsewhere" icon to navigate directly to the mapped product location
• See the product with its full supply chain context
• Understand complex supply chain relationships more easily

These indicators are no longer shown for customer nodes (tier -1) to reduce visual clutter.

2. Fixes

Task management

• Tasks now correctly include unassigned items for standard users by default, ensuring you see all work that needs attention from your team
• Overdue task indicators now display correctly with yellow warnings for items due today or one day ago, and red alerts for items more than one day overdue
• Task reminder emails now properly exclude inactive users from member companies, reducing unnecessary notifications
• Product link task counts now accurately reflect grouped requests, preventing inflated task numbers when customers request the same product multiple times
• Search terms are now retained when you navigate from document project details back to listings, saving you from re-filtering
• Task outbox now includes certificate request tasks with dedicated filtering options

Certificate management

• Certificate renewal tasks now appear correctly for all relevant certificates

Supply chain management

• Removing declared supplier links now processes correctly and updates the view immediately or shows "Pending Removal" status
• Product merging no longer creates pending links when merging products with existing accepted links

Specifications

• Specification requests no longer create duplicate tasks when sending or forwarding
• Third-party companies copying specification data multiple times no longer creates duplicate entries
• Origin labelling now supports multi-select for regions, with conditional questions appearing correctly when Australia & New Zealand is selected
• Specification sort filters now apply correctly when selected
• Product quality record labels now display as "Bonsucra," "ProTerra," and "Fairtrade"

Platform and interface

• UI elements now maintain proper full-width display after framework updates
• Platform window title now displays "Ideagen Supply Chain" instead of legacy branding
• Zendesk support widget moved to the left side of the screen with improved visibility for announcements

Location management

• Location reports now only show active (non-archived) sites in selection dropdowns

Logistics

• Additional logistics options added: Grower, Vinification, Blending, Finishing, Shipping, and Packing
