Granular role-based access control

We've redesigned permissions in Ideagen Supply Chain for precise control over who can view and manage each platform area. Instead of broad "admin" or "user" roles, you can assign specific permissions per module.

Features:

• Assign users to modules like Assessments, Certificates, KPIs, Specifications, and more
• Grant "User" access for viewing and tasks, or "Admin" access for content creation and management
• Combine permissions based on team members' roles
• Assign all user or admin roles, or clear selections with one click

This allows specialised roles, such as someone completing assessments without creating templates, or managing specifications without supply chain mapping access.

Enhanced notification filtering

Your notification centre now shows only alerts relevant to your role, reducing overload and helping you focus on your responsibilities.

What you can do:

• View notifications only for modules you have access to (Assessments, Certificates, Documents, KPIs, etc).
• Use filters tailored to your available modules.
• Avoid clutter from irrelevant areas.

2. Improvements and fixes

Certificates

• Certificate Admins can now edit and delete certificates.
• Expiry emails now include all relevant scope and expiry details.

Supply Chain

• The default supply chain sort now places customers at the top for easier access.

Products

• The "My Products" and "Products" tabs have been merged into a single "Products" search tab.

KPIs

• KPI scoresheet downloads now work correctly without errors.

Reporting/Help

• Knowledge Base link now directs to the correct User Guides.
• Support emails replaced with links to the support request page.

User interface

• Threshold color picker styling now works correctly in assessment templates.
• Threshold color tooltips no longer remain after selection.
• Role guidance with detailed descriptions added to user management page.
• Map view in company profiles zooms properly when selecting a site.
• Filter clearing in assessments now works as expected.
