This release introduces significant geospatial capabilities, specification workflow automation, and enhanced commodity management features designed to improve supply chain accuracy and collaboration.
1. Features
Site location mapping
Farm and manufacturing customers increasingly need to document site boundaries for compliance, audit, and traceability. This release introduces a self-service geospatial upload capability that removes dependency on manual data entry and enables precise, programmatically accessible site records.
New site importer page
Company Admins can now upload KML or GeoJSON files, preview coordinates on an interactive map, and save geospatial boundary data to specific sites. The feature is supported by new API endpoints to save and retrieve site area data.
Company profile integration
An Upload Site Areas button has been added to the Company Profile for Company Admins. The button uses primary styling for farm companies that have not yet set any site areas, making it easy to identify when action is needed.
Specification management enhancements
Manual date calculation on specification approval was a consistent source of error and administrative overhead. This release introduces automation that ensures consistency and reduces time spent on routine calculations across large specification libraries.
Component nutritional values in specifications
Multi-set nutritional tables are now supported in specifications for composite or variety products. You can store full 35-field nutritional data per named component, with data exposed via the specification version API.
Expiry and review date automation
Templates can now store default Days to Review and Days to Expiry values. These values automatically populate on the approval screen, ensuring consistent date calculation. Dates are displayed in the specification header with visual alerts: upcoming dates appear in yellow, and overdue dates appear in red.
Expiry date storage on specification requests
You can now store an optional expiry date against individual specification request links, alongside the existing review date field.
Red Tractor Licensee certificate scheme
The new RT Licensee scheme has been added with search, application, and scheduled auto-update support.
Assessment projects pagination
The assessment projects page is now paginated, displaying 25 or 50 projects per page. The page includes submit-based search and a new Sort By filter.
Plant-based product claim
A Plant-based checkbox has been added to the Suitable For / Product Claims section. The value is exposed in the API.
