This release introduces new certification scheme support, enhanced nutritional data capture, company profile review workflows, and geospatial site mapping capabilities.

1. Features

Specifications

To improve nutritional data capture and workflow automation:

• Added support for multiple Component Nutritional Value tables within a specification, plus exposure of this new data through the specification API.
• Added a "Plant-Based" option under the Suitable for section of Product Claims, with API support.
• Specification approval now auto-populates Review and Expiry dates based on template defaults; both dates are configurable per template and visible on the specification header with alert icons when due or overdue.
• Specification request links can now carry expiry dates and inactive flags.
• Archived specifications can now be returned via the listings endpoint for reporting purposes.

Reporting

To enhance dashboard organisation and navigation:

• Dashboards can now be assigned an optional category (managed in admin) and are displayed grouped by category on the reporting page.
• When viewing a categorised dashboard, related dashboards are filtered to the same category for easier navigation.

Company Profile

A multi-stage initiative has been delivered to support periodic company profile reviews. This release lays the foundations:

• Tracks the last approved date and approver against each company
• Adds a scheduled background process to identify companies due for review and generate reminder tasks
• Surfaces these tasks on the user homepage, in hourly and weekly notification emails, and via a banner message on the company profile page

Geospatial and site data

To enable site location tracking and coordinate management:

• New API endpoints to save and retrieve site location coordinate data (lat/lon plot data) for sites.
• New Site Importer page allowing company admins to upload geospatial files and preview data before saving.
• Coordinates can be assigned to specific sites via a site-selector dropdown, with company-level filtering.

Platform and API

Notifications are now correctly displayed after release deployments.

UX and quality-of-life improvements

We've improved the following:

• "Help" hyperlink added to the login page
• Company select now shows a count of roles per company
• Homepage task assignment now correctly shows all eligible users, not only those already assigned

Rationale

Customer demand for broader certification coverage drove the addition of Red Tractor Licensee, expanding the platform's automated scheme catalogue.

Data quality and accuracy needs in the food sector - particularly for variety packs and reconstituted products - motivated the redesign of nutritional data capture.

Supplier engagement and proactive data hygiene are addressed through the Company Profile review framework, helping customers keep supplier records current without manual chasing.

Geospatial site data has been a recurring customer ask to support traceability, sustainability and ESG reporting requirements.
