Creating a non-conformance

Users who want to create a non-conformance within the site actions module.
Site actions admin permissions are required.
This tutorial guides you through creating non-conformance records within the Ideagen Supply Chain platform.
You will learn how to document and submit non-conformance issues through the Site Actions module.
Creating a non-conformance record
Click Solutions to open the main module menu.

Click View next to the site actions module.

You will be taken to the main site actions page.

Click Create new action to start the process of adding a new record.

Click Create a Non-Conformance to begin documenting a new non-conformance issue.

Input the details for the record. Fields with an asterisk are mandatory.

You can attach a supporting file or document from your desktop to the platform if needed. Click Choose File to select a file.

Click Add File once it has uploaded to add to the non-conformance record.

Once the file has uploaded you will be given the option to download or delete if needed. You can also upload further files by clicking Choose File and repeating the process.

Click Create Non-Conformance to progress to the next stage.

Decide who should respond to the non-conformance. Click My Company (Managed) for it to be answered by someone from your company. Click My Supplier to send the non-conformance to your supplier for action.

Input the data related to site and product. For site, type the company name into the search box and select the relevant profile from the drop down.

Click Raise and send non-conformance to submit the report and notify the assigned parties. If the non-conformance is being managed by your company, the button will read Raise non-conformance instead.

Click Finish to finalize the non-conformance creation process and return to the main site actions page.
